Christmas Challenge #22

Good Morning - are you ready for the week? Mine is going to be very busy!! Between swim lessons, a FUNShop and seminar it will be one crazy week!! I'm already starting to feel a little frazzled and the week just started! I mean I need to finish trades, figure out what I'm going to wear (which also means doing laundry), along with many other day to day duties...can anyone give me more time?! I'm sure we could all use some more time...

Moving on :o) I was so glad that the challenge Maria issued this week was an open one. Anything goes. Just create. Sometimes that's good. It helps you feel refresh and takes some pressure off. Don't get me wrong - I love a challenge and a sketch as much as anyone but sometimes I need a break. KWIM?

This week I made a card using a retired stamp from The Angel Company. I stamped and embossed it on glossy cardstock and then colored it in with Tombow markers. I then cut out the image.

If you notice there is no pattern paper on this card (SHOCKER!). I used Curls n Swirls stamp set (again from The Angel Company) to make my own subtle background paper using VersaMark Ink. Hopefully you can see that better in this next picture.

So what do you think? Have you started making your holiday cards yet? Be sure to stop by the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Blog and check out what the other DT members came up with this week. Should be fun since it was an open challenge! Why not play along? Leave a comment on the blog with a link to your creation and we'll check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
