Sweethearts

Well it's Tuesday so I should be showing you a CAC Sketch card but I tell you I'm just not happy with it - I'm my own worst critic and I don't want to subject you to it! So instead I finished an awesome card for a challenge on PCP in the Pink Cat Studio group that I'm going to share. Janna issued the first DT challenge which was to create a card with four elements and the four elements have to spell LOVE. I'm just in love with the Lily & Billy Sweetheart stamps! Here's my card:

My elements consist of the following:
L - Lily
O - Ovals
V - Violet
E - Embellishments

I used a sketch from Taylor Expressions. I've been wanting to use this sketch for quite some time and I thought it worked perfectly with the stamp I chose. I used my Copics to color in Lily & Billy. Here is a close up:

I wasn't sure where I wanted to put the sentiment so I decided to put it in the inside along with some hearts.
Don't Lily & Billy just make you go "awwwww". I think they are the cutest! Thanks for looking!

Supplies: SEI paper, Buttons & Scrapper's Floss, Martha Stewart Punch, Stampendous heart stickers, Ribbon, Copic Markers, Pink Cat Studio Stamps

Pink Cat Studio Challenge & Mojo Monday Card

Today I have a fun, bright card to share using one of my favorite paper lines KI. Their paper just makes me smile - love all the fun patterns & colors! I used Mojo Monday week 70 sketch and I participated in the Pink Cat Studio Challenge on PCP. It was to create a card that has something pink on it, some sort of animal, and has scallops or sparkle or both. When I read those guidelines I instantly thought of a birthday card using one of my favorite PCS sets!

I colored Q.T. Hooty with my markers. I did a lot of layer but I really like how it turned out. I was really stumped by the sketch as I wasn't sure where to put my sentiment. I found this KI paper that has celebrate all over it and knew it would be perfect. Here's a closeup of the image:

It's hard to tell but there is sparkle on the top of his bday hat. I paper pieced the balloon and then added another piece with a pop dot for dimension.

So what do you think? Thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a look!
