Insert Cards for my PL Album using Stampin' Up! Stamps & Products

On Friday I had a Project Life 101 class. It was FREE to attend but the Make N Take was $5. We made these inserts along with getting two 12x12 Photo Pocket Pages. We had a blast and I'm planning on offering it again as there were some people who couldn't make it.

This one above is by FAR my favorite. I ABSOLUTELY love the watercolor quote one! It turned out so pretty!

This one took some time since we had to cut out each letter - like the way it turned out though. Shelli did one like this (which is where I got the idea) but she fussy cut her leaf and flowers. After taking so much time to cut the words (which is the part I REALLY wanted) I just stamped on the card itself.

A few more inserts here - love the one with the arrow punch - will make a great journaling card.

This one looks pretty plain but you can put a small picture in the left hand side. I want to thank Shelli for posting PL stuff on her blog. This is one of those stamp sets that I overlooked in the catalog. I LOVE how these turned out and I'm planning on using the stamp set one month in my stamp club. It has so many possibilities!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Project Life by Stampin' Up! - Everyday Adventure

As I mentioned yesterday, my daughter had her first day of school. I was a little nervous as she was going to a new school for us with a new start time. Instead of getting on the bus at 8:20 she now has to get on at 7:50. For someone who isn't a morning person (just like her Mommy), we weren't sure how it was going to go. She was so excited though she got right up and even had breakfast (I made her a special one - eggs, bacon and toast). I was a wreck all day worrying about her - when she got home and got off the bus it was apparent that my worrying was for nothing. She had a great day and I enjoyed hearing all about it!

Are you a photo taker? I bet a lot of you are! And if you are like me I take photos but have a hard time scrapbooking them. I just don't find the time. Well Project Life by Stampin' Up! will help with that. Each kit comes with 100's of double sided 3x4, 4x4 and 4x6 cards that you just insert into your pages along with your photos.

This is a sampling of the Everyday Adventure kit. I LOVE the colors and true to Stampin' Up's nature each set coordinates with our cardstock and accessories. The colors are listed under each kit's description. I just wrote the colors on a 3x5 and stuck it in with my kit so whenever I go to grab this kit I know what cardstock colors I may need (if I even choose to do that!).

These pictures aren't the best because I don't want to give away all my secrets as we will be going over this at my Project Life 101 class this Friday or Sunday (you pick which day works for you). I'm going to show you just how easy it is to get started and get those photos off your camera/computer and into your books!

I added some words to my pictures using Alphabet stamps and Staz-on as well as the stickers that come in the Everyday Adventure Accessory Pack. Sign up for this class is on my Facebook page so head on over there and RSVP (you can find the link at the top right of my page) - it's FREE to attend but there will be a Make-N-Take available for just $5. Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Open House for NEW Catalog!

Last week I held my Open House event getting ready for the NEW catalog debut. I had a pretty good turnout and was so excited to show some new product as well as the catalog. The card was my Make N Take...so easy but such a WOW factor!

All Open Houses need food. I had sweet and salty :D Homemade cookies and cupcakes were a huge hit! See the red bucket - those held my goodie bags. Everyone that came got one (you'll see more about that in another post).

This table carried some of the new product as well as In Color samples. I made bookmarks showing the new colors and they were a hit. Nice reference to have!

Project Life is one product I'm excited about as I really want to get back into scrapbooking. I've already started getting pictures printed which is HUGE since it's been a couple of years. Next I need to sort and then I think I'm ready to start. Am I nervous? Heck ya...it's been a while! BUT I know there are a lot of friends (of mine) that are in the same boat and are ready to get started. So hoping I can motivate them as well!

Do you have the new catalog? Are you wanting one? Just email me for details. I'd be happy to get you one! You can order from the new catalog on my online website 24/7, HERE. Thanks for stopping by!
