Halloween is fast approaching - and I have to admit I really enjoy it! I'm more of a cutesy Halloween fan. I get scared too easily not to be :0) Lucky for me, Elizabeth with Softpencil has created some DARLING Halloween digi's. To see them, check out
THIS blog post.
This week the Softpencil DT was given the digi
HALLOWEEN PEEK-A-BOO to use. I had so much fun coloring it.

Isn't that some fun paper...found it in the Target $ spot. There is even glitter on the green DP!
I wasn't sure if I wanted a sparkly pumpkin or a glossy one. I decided to go glossy...that decision was partial made because I didn't have the Stickles I wanted to use, lol!

The whole background thing is new for me...not sure I love it but will be practicing it again in hopes to improve upon it. When my LSS held a special make n take by MFT, I was shown how to do a background. I did that (which it looked decent) but had to try something more. So I added violet and then couldn't get it to blend very well. So to "fix" it I decided to try the dot technique...but only doing it around the image. It's kind of cool...like I said I don't love it but it's not bad. I have a bad habit of doing too much...sometimes I should just leave things alone. If I did that though I wouldn't learn new things, right? But what about that pumpkin...that my friends is a nice one, don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've enjoyed HALLOWEEN PEEK-A-BOO. Be sure to stop by the Softpencil blog to see all the latest and greatest. Elizabeth now has vinyl clings to purchase...too cool!!
