Make A Wish

Tonight is stamp club at my house and this is one of our projects. I have trouble doing masculine cards so that is what I was trying to accomplish here. It's a little bright with the Tangerine Tango and Coastal Cabana colors but I think it makes the Retro Fresh DSP pop - which I like :D

Are you a member of my Facebook page? If not, this is what you are missing. Above is a picture of my upcoming class - FUN FOLDS on Sunday March 16th. You will make all 4 cards, receive envelopes, detailed instructions and pictures for just $18. Registration is going on now - sign up before all the spots are filled!!

You can order Stampin' Up! Supplies HERE. You can join my Facebook Page HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Monster Hugs

Well this has been an interesting week! Tuesday we got a HUGE snow storm (3rd largest in Topeka history) so we had no school on Tuesday or Wednesday. My hubby even had the two days off as the roads were just too bad to get around. Then late Wednesday night/morning I developed the stomach bug - man was that NOT fun! I tell you I have been sick a lot more days in 2014 then I've been well and that is just plain sad! I had to miss work Thursday as well because near a bathroom was the place I need to be. Today I'm feeling a little better - sticking to the B.R.A.T. diet and taking it easy. I'm supposed to go to a crop tomorrow where I need to get lots of stuff done so I'm hoping I'm on my way to a full recovery!

I was going to post these cute Valentine's at the beginning of the week. These are a kit from Stampin' Up! that includes 18 boy or girl Monsters along with wiggle eyes, die cut hearts and a place to write your name. They are absolutely adorable and oh so affordable. They are just $5.95 each and one pack of each boy and girl was plenty for me to give to my preschool kiddos and have extras to hand out just because!

As you can see on the back they have cute little bums along with plenty of space to write names. All I had to provide was the chocolate bar. I did use some coordinating paper to wrap the chocolate bar as I thought it just polished it off.

These are still available and can purchased on my site HERE. They don't say "happy valentine's day" anywhere so they could be used for thank yous, birthday favors, or just because! Or you could get them now for next year...with each package having 18 you'll have plenty for your child's class by buying one girl and one boy package :D.

Thanks for stopping by!

You Mean the World to Me!

Quick share today - here is a card I made using the stamp set LOVE YOU MORE (#131853). It was available on a special promotion called Whole Lot of Love that was supposed to end January 27th but this stamp set and a few other cute goodies PERFECT for Valentine treats are still available. You can head over to my site HERE to order and click on the Valentine Product tab.

I think this stamp would be perfect for teachers thank you's as well. Change the colors and it would be great for those male teachers that are hard to make cards for. Well at least for me it is. Plus I think sometimes teachers get sick of apple stuff so why not change it up a bit with a globe :D

The color combo here - Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake is one of my go to's...LOVE IT! The DSP is again from Fresh Prints DSP Stack. One of my favorites from the Occasion Catalog.

Remember for every $50 you spend you can choose a exclusive gift for FREE out of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I'm still working on getting a link on the side of my blog so until then you can see the brochure HERE.

Happy Birthday Swap Card

I participated in a team card swap and this is the card I submitted. I got so many cool cards back that I will show on my card displays.

One of my favorite new stamp sets is Flower Shop. I'm addicted to flowers and this set comes with six different flowers! Plus you can bundle it with the coordinating punch making it VERY easy to create cards like this. I purchased this stamp set as a wood set knowing that I will probably be punching out the flowers most of the time. You can see the set HERE.

Card Details:
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Pool Party, Whisper White
Stamps: Flower Shop Stamp Set, Gifts of Kindness (sentiment)
Inks: Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie, Strawberry Slush, Early Espresso
Accessories: Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Pansy Punch, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Deco Labels Framelits
