So Excited - Erin Lee Creative New Designer

I was very fortunate to be asked to be a part of Erin Lee Creative design team. She has some amazing products and she is getting ready to have a new release October 7th. I have a sneak peak of one of her new items that I think you will love. 

Stencils are all the rage right now (especially for me) and this heart maze stencil is so fun to play with. I had a blast using my brushes along with my distress inks and doing a rainbow like theme on it.  Being a child of the 80's the rainbow, the wonky heart shape maze as well as the LYLAS saying just brings make TONS of happy memories. I feel like I need to send this to one of my grade school friends so they can feel the happiness too.

Erin Lee Creative Blog Hop for the October 7th New Release

This is a close up showing the Holographic Cardstock cuts (A2). With the added light you can really see the rainbow effect. I have to say the Holographic Cardstock is one of my favorites and punches such a WOW factor to the cards. I used it to diecut the Nesting Heart Die Set. CA-ute! You can find these NEW products in the Erin Lee Creative Shop.

Next I used the Crafty Friends Stamp set and coordinating die. That bunny and fox is just too cute! I mean who doesn't love hugs?! And the fun sentiment is included with the stamp set. I put it all on a background I made using alcohol inks.  So what's a blog hop without some prizes?! Guest Designer on the Erin Lee Creative Team Blog Hop

Happy Monday to you! I'm excited to be a guest designer on Erin Lee Creative's Team Blog Hop! You should be arriving from Ericka's Blog.  Erin has so many awesome products for sale and we are going to be showcasing them for you today. Everything is available at ERINLEECREATIVE.COM. For my card I had this idea in my head and I'm so excited that it actually turned out! I took Erin's 6x6 Winter Leaves Stencil and ran it through my Big Shot using embossing pads. I then took a little Wink of Stella and went over the now raised stencil area. Here's a little picture so you can hopefully see the kind of shine that is all over the card. 

Next I used Big Hello Love Die to cut multiple color hellos. I was going to try and do a rainbow but I did three colors and thought that was enough :D

Pretty cool, huh? I love green, blue and purple and would use it all the time if I could.  I hope you've enjoyed the blog hop. Welcome to the Erin Lee Creative Blog Hop

First off - HELLO! Yes, folks it's been awhile but I'm back. And for a VERY good reason. Life throws us all curve balls but every once and awhile you are able to catch that ball and throw it back. That is what has happened to me. I was asked to go to a stamping retreat and while there I met the fabulous Erin, who lives near me and just launched her own company! Whoop! Whoop! Lucky for me I am able to participate in her first ever blog hop! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived here from Cheryl's blog. But if you are just starting here, no worries - the complete list of hoppers is below.  First up is my creation. Erin has designed the cutest girls and with me having a girl of my own I had to use that! 

She was so fun to color with my copics and the die makes it so easy to cut her out! 

I made the background with Distressed Oxide Inks and then used a stencil to make the (subtle) mountains using shimmer spray and white craft ink. LOVE how it turned out!

Update Plus Some Changes!

I'm finding it difficult to keep up with all the social media sites there are at the moment. My family always comes first and with all the activities Abby is in, I find that I only have a few minutes here and there to connect. Therefore, for the time being I will be posting regularly on my Facebook page. I can do quick posts and still enjoy life with the family. 
I love(d) blogging but honestly here lately it has become a to-do chore rather than a fun activity. I don't like that so I'm taking a little break and we will see how things go. I'm not closing my blog cause I hope that I will get back to the love I once had for it - where I posted fun projects and updates on my family!

Triple Stamping Technique For Mother's Day!

At Stamp Club last month we used the Choose Happiness Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog. It's such a wonderful set cause it has a few images (see flower) as well as a TON of sentiments! You can easily find what you are needing/wanting to say!

 For this card we used the Triple Stamping Technique over on Splitcoaststampers. It's such a fun a pretty technique to do!

We used the new In colors for the card - makes it easy to coordinate everything! Little pearls are added to each of the flower centers.

On the inside we put another flower as well as our sentiment. Since Mother's Day is coming up that is what most of us picked.
