When I Need a Friend You're there.

Our second project at Stamp Club in September was this card. Again we used the Choose Happiness stamp set. This time only a little coloring was done on the leaves. I LOVED the idea of using the banner upside down to mimic a fence. So clever.

Aqua Painters & Choose Happiness Stamp Set

For my Stamp Club in September we made projects using the stamp set Choose Happiness. It's a set that I kind of skipped over when first going through the catalog. But once I saw the many possibilities that the stamp set had to offer I knew I needed it in my collection.

For this card, I grabbed my Aqua Painters and my stamp pads to do some coloring. LOVE how it looks on the Typeset DSP. Blackberry Bliss can be dark or light depending on the amount of water that I used. I like the two-toned look. 

A little bling around the sentiment finishes this card off. Who wouldn't choose happiness after receiving this beauty?! Thanks for stopping by!

Where I've Been as well as New Stamp Set and Weekly Specials!

Anytime there is just a little change in my schedule I seem to get off schedule on other things...so last week it was my blog! I did a 2 day craft show and ever since then I haven't seemed to get back on track. And this weekend I'm going to KC for a girls weekend so I'm really wondering what will happen to my schedule. 
This is a busy time for so many - school and sports are in full session, more family activities such as pumpkin patches and Halloween. Not to mention craft fairs. And then there will be Thanksgiving and Black Friday...once that hits, well who knows what my schedule will be like, lol!

Weekly Deals & an Update

I'm sorry for the lack of posts - I had a huge craft show last weekend and I was frantically working to finish stuff. There were a lot of people and I sold out of lots of stuff so it was worth the staying up till 2am five days in a row, lol.

One Last Work of Art Card (for awhile anyway)

I have one more card to share using the Work of Art stamp set. It is one of those sets that so many possibilities can happen with it. Just by using ink, combining stamps you can create many things. I have a couple of ladies in my group that I thought of when I made this card. Matter-of-fact I know that one of the ladies created some just last weekend. Her son is in the Army and she wanted to make some to send to him and his friends. 
To create this card you will need to "mask". To do that, stamp the heart on a post-it note and cut it out. Once cut out, stick it to your Whisper White Cardstock. Using Night of Navy ink, stamp the swoosh (I don't know a better term for that image, lol). Remove your sticky heart and you are left with a white heart. To make the shorter lines, again using a post-it note cover your image you just stamped. Then stamp three lines. Remove the post-it note and stamp two long lines below. You get a really cool looking flag. I then mounted it on Night of Navy and Real Red cardstock. Just by matting it you make a simple card look WOW. It really dresses it up!
