Sketch Friday at CSAYL - Challenge #59

Happy Friday to you! Thanks for stopping by for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long's challenge! It's a good one - I LOVE sketches and Maria always has such fabulous ones! That's right this week our challenge is to create a HOLIDAY CARD using the fabulous SKETCH below!

I rotated mine to accommodate one of my favorite stamp sets, Winter Tags by The Angel Company.

Who can resist such cute snowmen? I used a little Icicle Stickles for the snow and snowflakes - I think it turned out WONDERFUL!! EXACTLY the look I wanted to achieve (love it when that happens, don't you?)

I always pick my DP and then color and design around that. It's just easier for me. This time though I had a hard time finding matching cardstock. When I tried black cardstock, I liked the way everything just "popped" so I went with it :)

I hope you will join us - you do know that Christmas is 6 months away, right? Might as well get started now so you beat the holiday rush and stress! Stop by the CSAYL blog and see all the details for this weeks challenge, link your creation and see the other fabulous creations done by the DT. Remember if you play along, you could win a guest DT spot - so come on...JOIN US!!

Copic Caboodle Clubs

I'm so excited to offer some AWESOME Copic clubs that ANYONE can take advantage of. In case you didn't know, The Angel Company now has their own sets of Copics called Caboodles. Each Caboodle set has 12 sketch markers in 4 different colors. That means that you get three markers in the same color family making it easy for blending and shading. Not only that but we have matching cardstock for each Caboodle set. There are a total of SEVEN different Caboodle sets to choose from!

You can see the Caboodle sets on my Ecommerce site
HERE

No matter which club you choose, Caboodle Club Members will receive the following benefits:

  • A Copic Caboodle Swatch Book to coordinate with each caboodle set you purchase. There will be spaces for color swatches, paper swatches and special combos. This book will be such a great resource when coloring - you will refer to it again and again to get the same colors together!
  • “Copic Club Happy Hour” every month for members – come and play and see how to color and learn techniques. Fill your swatch book and create samples to look back to for color combos and tips. Receive classroom style color coaching from me and other members of the class.
  • You are also eligible for any TAC specials that require a $30 purchase – so you can get the stamp of the month at its special price without any additional order required.
  • Need something else – During your hostess month you can utilize the 20% discount on additional items (Limited to $150)

COPIC CLUB EXTREME

This is the club for those that want them ALL! You get the best savings because you are essentially paying for 5 sets and getting 2 FREE!

4 people 4 months $125 per month – Each month you’d get 2 sets of Caboodles and 6 sheets of Copic white paper! During your hostess month, you’d only get one set but you’d also get a FREE level A & B hostess set! Please note, $125 would still be due during your hostess month.

$125 too much to spend per month for you? Then maybe the 8 people 8 months $65 per month is more for you. Each month you’d get 1 set of Caboodles and 3 sheets of Copic white paper! During your hostess month, you wouldn’t receive a set but you’d still get the FREE level A & B hostess set! Please note, $65 would still be due during your hostess month.

COPIC CLUB ULTIMATE

This is the club for those that just want to get a few Caboodle sets at a time. At the end of the club you’d end up with TWO Caboodle sets (THREE if you decided to purchase another one as your ½ price item) as well as matching cardstock and white Copic paper.

4 people 4 months $55 per month – Each month you’d get 6 markers, 6 Copic white paper and 6 matching cardstock. During your hostess month, you’d have the option to get something at ½ price so you may choose another Caboodle set! You’d also receive a FREE level A hostess set! Please note, during your hostess month you’d owe the $55 PLUS whatever else you purchased.

COPIC CLUB

This is the club for those that want some Copics but realize that bills still have to be paid. At the end of the club you’d end up with ONE Caboodle set (TWO if you decided to purchase another one as your ½ price item) as well as matching cardstock and white Copic paper.

4 people 4 months $33 per month – Each month you’d get 3 markers, 6 Copic white paper and 6 matching cardstock. During your hostess month, you’d have the option to get something at ½ price so you may choose another Caboodle set! You’d also receive a FREE level A hostess set! Please note, during your hostess month you’d owe the $33 plus whatever else you purchased.

Really want to take advantage of your hostess month? Why not 5 people for 5 months. The only difference is you wouldn’t owe the $33 during your hostess month – you’d owe just whatever you decided to purchase for ½ price (plus any other specials you took advantage of).

Interested? Contact me and we'll get you started!! I will also keep all this information in a page tab at the top of my blog for easy reference (you can see it HERE). Please note that any club must have full sign up participation prior to beginning. Also all prices are for local customers. If your order requires me to ship it to you then actual shipping charges will apply.

Flutter By Time Again

Well folks, get those BUTTERFLIES, ANGELS OR FAIRIES out and get ready to create because the challenge this week is an OPEN one!! ANYTHING GOES as long as you use a BUTTERFLY, FAIRY or ANGEL!

I just had to show this new Hostess Set from The Angel Company called Happiness is:

It's such a fun set - it has a girl who has caught a butterfly and put it in a jar. Then there is this image with her letting it go. I used a different sentiment from the Blossoms & Blessings set since butterflies {and YOU} have a special place in my heart. :)

That wonderful paper is one of our new double sided paper lines, Maggie. LOVE the colors and prints!! So what do you think?

Now I'd normally be thanking our guest DT for doing such a wonderful job and telling them I hope to "see" them again...not the case with this months DT as we've made Michelle VP a permanent part of the team!! WELCOME Michelle...glad to have you! Next week, I'll be introducing our new guest DT for August...so be sure to check the FBW blog to see who it is!!

I hope you decide to join us this week! Just visit the FBW blog to link your creation (remember it's a direct link to your creation NOT your blog) so we can all come check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!

TAC Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to another Blog Hop featuring The Angel Company products. The blog hops are sponsored by Paper Wings and showcase different blogs from fellow Angels. Our theme this month is CHRISTMAS IN JULY!! Today just happened to be my CHRISTMAS IN JULY class where I showcased 4 projects using The Angel Company (TAC) papers & stamps.

First up we did a Christmas Card using Glossy Accents and Copic markers. All the stamps are from a new stamp set called Jingle Jolly. Last week I went to Heather & Lori's Angel Inspired function where we made this card. I had a BLAST and the projects were AWESOME!!!

Next, we did this Treat Tube using our Reece SWIC papers. I found this idea on Beate Johns Blog. The tube is a toilet paper roll...it's a cute way to give someone some chocolates or a little gift tucked inside. The sentiment is from the Thinking of You stamp set - LOVE this set...so many wonderful sentiments. It seems to be the one set I always grab :)

Our next card is actually a gift card holder. This idea came from another TAC event that I was unable to attend. I bought the project CD for all the wonderful ideas though. The only color on the card is from the Christmas Red Stickles that I used.

Love using the Victorian Elements to make my own background...so easy and it's got such an elegant feel to it! The ornaments are from the Joyful Ornaments set and that awesome sentiment is from a new hostess set, Sophisticated Sentiments.

The last project was a treat box (or a peek-a-boo box on SCS).
The greeting is a stamp from the Sweet Goodies set and I punched it out using my Mega Scalloped Square Punch. Can't get any easier than that!! Here's what the inside of the box looks like:
It's such a cute little box and it will hold 3 Ghirardelli Chocolates. I made mine using the Penelope SWIC papers and cardstock.

Well there you have it - hope you like my projects! Have you started creating any of your holiday cards yet? You know next week is August, then back to school and before you know it Christmas will be here. Geez, guess I better start doing some Christmas shopping...for myself, lol!

Now, hop on over to these other blogs to see what fabulous CHRISTMAS IN JULY projects they've created.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Everything I used is available through The Angel Company.. to order visit my online shopping site or feel free to email me.

CSAYL Challenge #58 - Buttons & Bows

Don't you just LOVE Fridays? I'm ready for the weekend and it's a JAMMED packed one! But I've got some FUN stuff planned so that's always good! As you know on Friday I showcase a Christmas card for the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Blog. Our challenge this week is BUTTONS & BOWS and we are being sponsored by SASSY CHERYL'S!!

I was asked to use UP IN ARMS digital image for my creation - um, hello...OKAY! It's another CA-UTE snowman...and we all know I LOVE snowmen!!

I printed this digi on the new CABOODLE CARDSTOCK from TAC...Let me tell you - this paper is FABULOUS!! LOVE using it with my Copics...the color is more vibrant than using my Georgia Pacific and I don't have the "bleed" issues as much!! If you've been looking for some wonderful paper to use with your Copics well look no further!

This fabulous layout is curiosity of Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #59. They always have such wonderful sketches to use. Of course, I had to improvise a little in order to add my image, buttons and bows but it worked out perfect!

I hope you'll play along with us! If you do, you could win a $5 gift certificate to SASSY CHERYL'S store!! Hop on over to the CSAYL Blog for all the details and to link your creation - you have until Thursday, July 29th! GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend :)

Softpencil Thursday - Digi Sentiment

Welcome to another Softpencil Thursday! Today I'm showcasing THINKING OF YOU digi sentiment. LOVE how the image & sentiment are together...really makes it easy to create a card!

Shocking to see these colors from me...seems like I always use pink but I wanted to capture the feeling of summer - blue, orange, green.

I know I've been using my pencils to color lately but I needed a little change so I used my Copics. I think the card turned out super sweet. The fabulous layout came from Unscripted Sketches #62. Will definitely be using that sketch again!

So what do you think? Stop by the Softpencil blog to see all that is going on. I know Elizabeth is on a mini vacation but you can still purchase items in her shop as she is still "working". Go grab your THINKING OF YOU digi sentiment and start creating some fabulous cards!!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the blogs of the other Softpencil DT to see what they did with this digi sentiment...I'm sure their creations will be awesome!

FBW #114 Christmas in July Challenge

Good Morning - thanks for joining me for another Flutter By Wednesday! Today the challenge is CHRISTMAS IN JULY - however you may perceive that. Just remember you have to also include a BUTTERFLY, FAIRY or ANGEL.

When I got the challenge I tried to think which image makes me think Christmas. I kept thinking of Angels but wasn't sure which one I wanted to use. Then I remembered one of my FAVORITE sets from TAC, Just Dream...

Isn't she a beautiful Angel?!? She is my favorite from the set...matter-of-fact, I think she's the only one I've ever used, lol! My friend and FBW founder, Danni told me last week that I can't have too much glitter - well let me tell you this baby is one sparkling beauty! I used a Stardust Clear Gelly pen to outline part of the sentiment and added Cotton Candy Stickles to the wings.

I know red and green are usually associated with Christmas as well. In the last few years though I've really noticed a lot of pink...so I went with that and used one of my FAVORITE TAC paper lines, MIMI.

I love it when things just click! Jen's SFYTT for the week was a perfect match for what I was trying to achieve...and it turned out so freakin' pretty (if I do say so myself, lol). I got to use my new tool, the I-Rock for the gems...love that thing! It's so cool! I can't wait to use it more! You'll notice the gems at the top of the card, in the flower center and the Angel's necklace...I would have used more if I could have figured out where to put them. I'm telling you that tool is AWESOME!

So whatcha think? I hope you'll play along with us this week. Just drop on over to the FBW Blog and link your creation up. Be sure to visit the blogs of my fellow DT sisters as well...I'm sure they'll have some FABULOUS creations to share! I'm also entering this card into CUTE CARD THURSDAY's challenge #121 since it's to make a Christmas card :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

CSYAL Challenge #57 - BLING

Happy Friday to you! Welcome to another Christmas Stampin' All Year Long challenge! This week we'd like to see your cards SPARKLE, SHIMMER & SHINE!! Bring on the BLING!!
We are also being sponsored by In Style Stamps. They are releasing NEW Christmas digi's today and we are showcasing a few of them. I was asked to use TOM..

the Nutcracker in a card. Tom is kind of different for me - I seem to go towards totally cuties kiddy images. BUT when I think of Christmas I can't help but think of the The Nutcracker Ballet - so I really wanted to make a card using this image.

I grabbed some of my fine VINTAGE HOLIDAY paper from TAC (sucks that it's retired!) and created this fine card using Sweet Sketch Sunday #77 for the layout. Since we are supposed to use BLING this week, I added a row of gold rhinestones and I colored TOM with my Stardust Clear Gelly Pen...Believe me, this baby sparkles!!

Hope you've enjoyed meeting TOM! Stop by the CSAYL blog to see all the information about this weeks challenge, link your own creation up and see the other wonderful samples from the DT. If you play along with us, you'll get a chance to win 4 digital images from In Style Stamps! Our challenge ends July 22nd and the winner will be announced on Friday, July 23rd!

I will be going to another TAC retreat this weekend - going to see some wonderful Angels, get my projects on and hopefully get some more MOJO going!! Have I mentioned that the new catalog from TAC just ROCKS!?!?! SO many wonderful stamp sets - if you haven't gotten one, contact me! I'd LOVE to send you one :) Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Frog House

So sorry this is late - I wanted to post last night but we had some terrible thunderstorms and the power kept going off. I didn't want to take a chance and fry my computer so I waited until this morning...except then I couldn't get my camera to work. ARGHHHH it's been one of those days!!

Today for Softpencil Thursday I'm showing a cute little digi called FROG HOUSE.

Love the little froggie! I cut him out and popped him up to give him a little more attention. Thought about putting Stickles on him but wasn't sure how many blingy frogs are out there, lol!

I used Jen's SFYTT for the layout...think it turned out so great! So whatcha think? Do you likey? Stop on over at the Softpencil Blog to see what's going on and to get one of these cuties for yourself!! Be sure to visit my fellow DT members to see their wonderful creation using FROG HOUSE as well - their blogs are in my sidebar!

Thanks for stopping by - and I hope you have a WONDERFUL Thursday!!

Flutter By Wednesday #113

Where or where has the week gone? I can't believe it's time for another Flutter By creation! Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments and warm welcome back last week - we had LOTS of players with AWESOME creations!! Be sure to stop by the FBW Blog to see who the lucky winner is from our blog hop last week and what they won!!

This week we are being sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads. We were given a choice of a few images to use and I picked Puppy Cookie With Butterfly.

Isn't he cute? I think when the butterfly landed on him I can just see him saying well Hello Hello :) He was so much fun to color - I used my pencils and OMS. I have to tell you it's one of my favorite coloring methods and is SO relaxing! The challenge this week at FBW is to create a card using LOTS OF LAYERS (at least 3) AND A BUTTERFLY, FAIRY or ANGEL.

Lots of layers is also PAPER SUNDAES challenge #26 this week so I'm entering my card there. The fabulous sketch comes from DIGITAL TUESDAY challenge #67 which I'm also entering. The sentiment is from a new Hostess Set in The Angel Company Catalog called SOPHISTICATED SENTIMENTS. This is one of the fabulous sets that I got at seminar. While at seminar, I did a little shopping at a few scrapbook stores. I picked up this little pad of paper, Green at Heart, by BasicGrey. It's so MY COLORS!!

I hope you'll play along with us this week. Remember if you do, to go to the FBW blog and link your creation. It's important that you do a DIRECT LINK to your card not just your blog. If you have problems or questions, there are instructions on the FBW blog OR you could email me and I'll help you out :) I should also mention that if you play along you might just WIN some fabulous DIGI's of your OWN...HINT, HINT!! Happy Birthday Digi Sentiment

What's a digi sentiment? It's a fabulous new digi from Softpencil that I love!! Why? Because it makes for a super cute card QUICKLY!! Gotta love that...especially when you forget that your daughter has a birthday party to go to until the morning of!!!

I printed the digi sentiment and went over Happy Birthday with my Stardust Clear Pen...it added just the right sparkle. Then I added a little Crystal Stickles to the center balloon.

The digi sentiment has everything so I just added a little paper, ribbon and some dew drops and wooohooo I'm done! So what do you think?

It's the first Friday of the month so time for a gift set challenge over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. This week we were challenged to make a PEEK-A-BOO BOX and matching card.

Yes, that is the peppermint bark Ghirardelli. I buy LOTS at Christmas so it gets me through the entire year, lol!

You can find the tutorial for the PEEK-A-BOO BOX as well as the other design team members wonderful creations on the CSAYL blog. So whatcha waitin' for...go check it out!

Digi Paper

Time for another Softpencil Thursday! I'm fairly new with digital images so when Elizabeth created this MICHU'S MOM DIGI PAPER all I could think of was background paper. I'm sure there are LOTS of fabulous ideas and I have no doubt that the DT will be showing you some. So be sure to stop by their blogs (links in my sidebar) to see their awesome creations! While I'm talking about the DT I'd like to welcome DAWN to the group!

The digi paper is perfect for just about any occasion. The sentiment is from The Angel Company Sunday Stroll stamp set. I think it sums things up perfectly!

I printed MICHU'S MOM DIGI PAPER in Microsoft Word. Then I cut out the portion for my card. There was a little bit of space between the images so I added a ribbon and bow. I colored the paper using my pencils and OMS. Since I printed a whole sheet of MICHU'S MOM DIGI PAPER, once I colored it I could make multiple cards. Pretty cool, huh?

I hope you've enjoyed my card today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
