FBW #200 - Farewell to Flutter By!

Today is a hard one, folks! I mean how do you say good bye that has been a part of your life for so long (I'm talking YEARS!). Today is FBW's 200th challenge...but it's also our last!

To honor the occasion we have a wonderful sketch by former team member Jen to use:

I know we can use fairies and angels but for the last flutter by I just had to use butterflies...and LOTS of them!!

I didn't have the small die jar from PTI so I just cut some off and made my own. You can't really tell but I put acetate over the jar to give it more of a glassy feel. I didn't add any sparkle (I know?!?! What was I thinking???) but will go back and definitely add that to the butterflies.

Thank you to Danni and the team members for a wonderful design team and challenge blog. So many opportunities and things have happened to be because of it and the support I've received. Thank you to ALL that have joined us in playing along - you have made FBW so successful and something that we will all treasure!

I hope that you'll still stop by to visit as I'll still be creating...keep fluttering friends!

Softpencil Blog Hop - Come Celebrate With Us!!

Welcome to the Softpencil Blog Hop...if you've arrived from Melissa's blog then you are in the right place! If not, you'll want to read on to see how you can join in on the fun!
Elizabeth over at Softpencil has reason to celebrate! So since April 10th there have been a few blog hops going on. This is the third and final one and I hope you'll hop along to see all the wonderful products she has available.

Per Elizabeth (owner of Softpencil):
We are celebrating the first year of my characters, the TinytwiniesTrademark symbol, the first year of Softpencil Studios relaunching and my 10th anniversary as a professional artist. Plus we are also celebrating the opening of my own shop where all my products will be available: digi-stamps, clear stamps, stickers, rub-ons, kits for card making, scrapbooking and paper crafting (they include my new line of papers) and more products coming soon!

There will be several prizes:
• I´ll be choosing a winner for each blog hop (three winners) who´ll receive a gift certificate of $15.
• All the players who participate by leaving their comments on each blog of 1, 2 or the 3 blog hops will receive a free digi-stamp of their choice (or 2, or 3 depending on how many blog hops they have played in and completed. They´ll have to write me at elizabethpujalka@hotmail.com to let me know that.
• Plus there are some "mystery blogs" - be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs because some will have an opportunity to win a digi-stamp.

Whew, that's a lot of information...now on to my sample. I used Lilly for my card - she's one of my favorites! She's perfect for so many occasions!

Don't you just love that paper? It's my new Doodlebug 6x6 pad and it's oh so cute!

Ok - to continue with the blog hop you need to visit Betty's blog. Remember if you are just starting here, then you need to go to the Softpencil blog and start from the beginning. Just in case you get lost I have included the blog hop order for you below:

FBW #189 - LOVE Recipe Featuring Poppy the Circus Girl!

Oh my have you seen these adorable digis over at Saturated Canary? They are so so cute!! She recently had a sale and I had to pick up a few (ok QUITE a few, lol) for my ever growing digi collection.
This little cutie is Poppy the Circus Girl, A Ragamuffin. I love her outfit and her little "friend". I decided to use her for this week's challenge over at Flutter By Wednesday.

It's a LOVE challenge -
L - two or more layers
O - have an ODD number of embellishments
V - have the color violet on your creation
E - you can use any color EXCEPT red
PLUS REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR BUTTERFLY, FAIRY or ANGEL on your creation!

I just got one of the PTI Think Big Favorites and I must say they are DE.lish - love them! I will definitely be putting more on my wish list! I used The Deconstructed Sketch #37 for my layout - it was perfect for Miss Poppy!
My embellishments are 2 flowers, 2 butterflies and 1 bow for a total of 5 which is an odd number. Although it may look like I used red, I did not. EVERYTHING is pink! The paper is by MME called Lime Twist.

So whatcha think? I hope you'll join us at FBW this week and play along with our LOVE challenge. Head over to the blog for all the details! Don't forget to check out more inspiration from the DT - their links are on my sidebar!

Thanks for stopping by!
