More Fun Fold Cards

I thought I'd share a couple more cards from my Fun Folds class last Sunday. The above picture is a Tri-Shutter Card and you can find the directions on how to make one on SplitcoastStampers in their tutorial section. Although it looks complicated it's really not. Just a few score lines and two cut lines and it's done. The hardest part for me is remember how to fold each panel! The paper & stamp set I used for the Tri-Shutter card is from the Sale-A-Bration brochure which ends on March 31st! Just a few more days to get FREE product for every $50 you spend.

This next card I found somewhere on Pinterest but had to change a few things to get it to work for me. The original post that I had found was in a different language with odd measurements. The notches on the end were made with the Envelope Board. Kind of hard to tell but the flap on the other end has a small cut in it (made by a Deco Label Framelit) and is for a gift card. I wish I would have thought of putting one in a taking a picture. The band you see goes around the front and help holds it close.

I hope you've enjoyed the cards. You can buy supplies at my site HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Fun Fold Card

We are on Spring Break right now and although I'd hope to spend lots of time in my craft room it just hasn't happen. That's okay though since I have spent lots of time with Abby - making memories and hanging with friends.

On Sunday I held a Fun Fold Card Class at my house and we had so much fun. This is one of the cards we made and I have to say it's also one of my favorites. There are two flaps - one is just a rectangle with two corners rounded; the other is a die cut using the Deco Label Framelits (largest die). Each are scored and the scored ends are "tucked" under the piece of Strawberry Slush Cardstock.

This shows the flaps open. The flaps are held closed by a button on a 3D pop dot...the deco label die cut flap just tucks under it and it stays closed.

I used Basic Black, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay and Kaleidoscope DSP. The stamp set is Four You. You can purchase these supplies as well as others at my site HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

Happy Monday to you! I participated in my first Quarter Mania on Friday and even though the turnout was a little low I still had a great time and met some new people. I'm thinking that the weather scare was the cause for the lower than normal turnout. We were supposed to get 8+ inches of snow as well as some sleet and ice. Luckily we did not get all that. We did get some but mostly it's just bitterly cold!

At Quarter Mania I had a "booth" were I could sell some goodies. Since my husband's birthday was also Friday I decided to make some birthday chocolate treat holders. I think they turned out really cute. Plus they were SUPER EASY to do which is always a plus!

They aren't very big... they hold a Ghirardelli Chocolate. I tucked the ends inside so they weren't hanging out. I used the new Angled Tag Topper Punch and a little twine to hold it together. Those Tag Topper punches have to be my new favorite tool.

After making some birthday ones I decided to do a few generic ones as well. It's a cute little gift to give a co-worker or friend and let them know you are thinking of them.

You can order supplies HERE. Remember for every $50 you spend you get to choose a FREE SALE-A-BRATION item. Have you thought about joining Stampin' Up? Now is a great time...you pay just $99 and get $150 worth of products. Let me know if you want more information. I'd love to have you join my team!
