Flutter By Wednesday - Sorry no post yet!

Today is Flutter By Wednesday but at the moment I have nothing fluttering! I have not been feeling well since Saturday so everything has had to take a back seat. I plan on posting something just might not be till tomorrow.

I'm truly sorry for not having a card. Right now there is so much going on I feel as though I'm totally drowning. I need to get a routine down and figure out how to juggle all the commitments that I have. I realize I'm not on a lot of DT's but with PTO, soccer, Preschool, Girl Scouts and my TAC business I have a lot going on! I always thought I was pretty organized but you can only do so much in a day...especially when you aren't feeling well! Thanks for understanding and I hope you stop back by!!

Challenge #63 - Brads or Eyelets

Welcome to another Christmas Stampin All Year Friday creation! This week we are being sponsored by In Style Stamps! That means just for participating in the challenge this week you are eligible for the prize of 4 FREE digi's!!

So what's the challenge you ask? Well I'm sure this is something that you have laying around - use at least 3 brads or eyelets on your Christmas card...the more the merrier!!

My image is Ornamental Chloe..isn't she a cutie? We are having rainy weather so it was really hard to get a decent picture. The ornament sparkles - colored it with Copics and then went over it with my Clear Stardust Gelly Pen...not sure you see that though!

I have to tell you that it has just been one of those weeks for me. I made this card and then realized I didn't follow the challenge...yes, I did that on Wed for Flutter By also! SO I went back to my room and worked for another hour to try and add brads. I'm pretty sure if I would have remembered the challenge I would not have used the dot as the main background. OH WELL though :) I do have EIGHT brads on my card!! I used The Sweet Stop Sketch (SSS72) for the layout.

I'm pretty sure it's a good thing the weekend is here - I need some R&R!! Hopefully I will have some productive time in the 'ol studio, too since I need to get LOTS of projects done!! Softpencil Thursday

Good Afternoon! I'm home from the first official day of preschool and am happy to report that it went A OKAY! I only had one upset little man but after a few minutes and with the help of his lovey we were good to go! He even put his lovey away half way through the morning which is an awesome step!!

Enough about that you are here to see my Softpencil Thursday creation. Today we got to use a fabulous new image, A GIFT FOR MY TEACHER. Well as the name implies I had to make a little gift for the teacher.
It's a smartie holder which I found on Dawn's blog. It's so easy and fun to make. Last night we made Halloween ones at my stamp club. I'm also making birthday ones for my preschoolers.

This is why I had to wait to take my photo...I added Glossy Accents to the apple. Just adds a little somethin' somethin', you know?

On the inside I added a little bit of pattern paper and a little greeting. Then I can add short note of thanks for all the teacher does!

FBW #121 - Don't Do What I Did, LOL!!

In more ways then one, folks! I have been SO BEHIND and it's totally messing with so many things. I started working on my card late today and knew I needed to use a certain image but completely forgot about the challenge itself WHICH IS TO CREATE A CARD USING PINKS AND A BUTTERFLY, FAIRY or ANGEL ON IT. Well...I used red...that's close right?!?!


Also, don't try and fix a mistake that isn't really a mistake at midnight. Because folks, it now is a mistake...yes, the ladybug has freaky eyes...don't look at that...check out my coloring though....lovin' the tail...
Amazing that I remembered to add a butterfly, lol! Geez don't those ladybug eyes just stare at you...Believe me folks, I thought about not sharing but I stayed up too late to get it done so you get the pleasure of enjoying it :)

I should tell you that the fabulous image is from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. It's called FAB FRIENDS and I want to personally thank Susana for supplying the DT with the images...so cute and fun to play with! Gotta try making another card when I'm not half asleep!

Back to School With Michu & Ratiny

Elizabeth has been busy at Softpencil so if you haven't been by you better check it out! This week we are showing one of her new Back to School digi's, Michu & Ratiny go to School.

I bought some large wooden clothespins at Michael's that I wanted to alter. I'm always looking for ways to stay organized so what better way at Preschool than with my own "clip".

Of course, the clothespin isn't that big so I just added a little ribbon and some dew drops. I wanted Michu & Ratiny to take center stage.

So this cute little clip doesn't walk away, I made sure to personalize the back. This will look great on my desk and will hold those important reminders for me! Whatcha think?
