Snowflake Ornament for FBW #135 OPEN Challenge
I found a pack of plastic snowflakes at my local dollar store that I wanted to make into ornaments. I decided to use MERRIEST WISHES by The Angel Company on it - I mean they are the cutest snow angels!!
One of my favorite color combo's for winter is purple, blue and pink.
Gotta have sparkle - the wings have Stickles on them. And although it's hard to tell I used my Stardust Clear Gelly Pen and added a little sparkle to the flowers on the hat and the polka dots on the scarf.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to put on the back. Decided to use a sentiment but could have easily put a special note or a picture of some sort instead.
I stamped snowflakes from ORNAMENTAL SNOWFLAKES in claret Palette pad. The sentiment is from HUNG BY A TREE.
I took this to my FUNShop last night to show the ladies and they LOVED it! I always try and make a special ornament each year and am so pleased with this one! What do you think of it?
As I mentioned before this is our last challenge for 2010. I hope you will play along! FBW will return on January 5th for a special blog hop! I also want to welcome Kristie back to the FBW team and to thank Erin for being a guest designer in December. Oh and we will be looking for a few new team members...details on how you can apply will be on the FBW blog so if you love FAIRIES, BUTTERFLIES AND ANGELS then our team may be for YOU!!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Softpencil Tuesday Featuring Christmas Michu!!
Today for Softpencil Tuesday I'm using CHRISTMAS MICHU - he's stopping by to wish you Season's Greetings
A lot of times when I'm creating a card I don't like to get too bulky due to mailing issues. BUT I realized that I have a heck of a time even mailing cards so why should I restrict myself! So I piled the goodies on - and it was FUN!
I used The Sweet Stop Sketch (SSS86) for this lovely beauty...I am a HUGE fan of their sketches! They always have such wonderful layers and room for plenty of embellishments!
So whatcha think? Pretty cute, right? There are a few sales still going on over at the Softpencil Blog - and remember you can only get Elizabeth's goodies until January 2nd. And the way time is flying by that will be here before you know it!! so GO!
Thanks for stopping by - see ya tomorrow for a Flutter By Wednesday creation - and guess what? It's not a card :D

Spec-TAC-ular Thursday Featuring Christmas Projects!
I don't know about you but I always seem to give gift cards of some sort to my sister. Abby's school is selling these money saving cards which are good to local restaurants in Topeka which I think we'll be giving to the mailman and bus driver this year. They are the same size as a gift card so I'll be using this for them as well. I found the tutorial over at the Stamping411 blog. I had to change it up a bit since I wasn't using the same supplies as them.
I used punches rather than dies. Here is a close up of little Rudolph:
I used my Copics to color him. The papers are from the Reece Soar With It Collection and Cardstock. Rudolph is the tab that you pull which holds the gift card.
It's pretty cool gift card holder and you can get 4 of the pockets from one 8&1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock so they are very economical!! Plus by making one of these it shows the recipient that you took the extra time to make a special holder for that gift card!
Next up are a few little goodies that I have on hand to give out - you know to the bell ringer or the cashier or maybe a neighborhood child. Just something little, dressed up to show that you put in a little extra TLC for them.
Please Note: I am a demonstrator for The Angel Company. You can find these stamps and products for purchase on my website - www.michellem.ismyangel.net. For easy reference, I've added everything under FEATURED PRODUCTS on my site. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to order outside the US.

You're An Angel - FBW #134
This time of year, lots of people make me happy. I thought why not let them know...I mean shouldn't I make someone else happy especially if they were the ones that brought that smile to my face?
I guess I should have said this in the beginning but the challenge over at the Flutter By Wednesday Blog this week is an OPEN one - anything goes as long as you include a fairy, butterfly or angel on it. To play along just head on over to the FBW blog for all the details and to link your creation!
Sorry for the short post...I watched the Hallmark Movie from a couple of weeks ago and cried (do it EVERY time!)...so now my eyes are on fire. Plus didn't sleep well at all so I'm VERY tired. Time to get some rest so I can do some creating tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!!
