So my first attempt...not too bad but not what I was looking for
Couple things with this one. I used chalk ink instead of dye ink and although I LOVE the background (which is the Retiform Technique) I'm not lovin' the focal image. Like I said, not horrible but just not my usual thing.
So I decided to try again. This time I watched a video from Heather about the Retiform Technique (You can see it HERE). I like these results so much more...
It was really fun and I'm planning on doing this card for my FUNShop that is coming up. I think the girls will enjoy trying out this technique!
There are a few more hours to get your Retiform creation in. You can go HERE to see all the wonderful entries and to play along!
Thank for stopping by - I'll be back tomorrow (gasp...three posts in a row!!) with my calendar :D

I used to color with chalks all the time! Your cards are lovely, love the backgrounds! ~hugs
They are both beautiful. Next time I try this technique, I will try chalks instead of ink. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oooh, pretty! I love how the colors on the second one pop! :)
